Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13th January, 1981) is an American actor. He began his acting career playing roles in television shows such as Opposite sex in 2000. In the following years, he appeared in numerous teen films including 2001's Not Another Teen Movie he gained attention for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch in 2005's Fantastic Four and the sequel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans has also been featured in movie versions of comics and graphic novels TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). His portrayal of Captain America/Steve Rogers was in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014 and 2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame 2019 brought him greater recognition. In the course of his Marvel film work, he was one of the highest-paid actors in the world.
